How this board is built
AI Hiring Board indexes the roles behind frontier and applied AI work: the people training the models, running the clusters, evaluating the outputs, and writing the policy that governs all of it.
Read at the source, never scraped
Every listing here is pulled from the employer's own applicant tracking system through its published interface: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday. We do not scrape rendered career pages, and we do not accept syndicated feeds from other boards. That is a deliberate constraint. It means a role appears here only if it is genuinely open on the company's own system, and every apply link goes directly to that system rather than through us.
Roughly a third of the 484 companies we track are large enterprises whose boards carry thousands of unrelated openings alongside their AI hiring. For those, a classifier runs at ingest and only AI and machine-learning roles are admitted, so the board never fills up with warehouse and accounting listings from a company that happens to also employ research scientists.
Nine specializations, not one list
Most job sites treat AI as a single keyword. The work is not one job. An interpretability researcher, a cluster engineer, and an AI policy analyst share almost no day-to-day skills, so we classify every role into one of nine tracks and build a page for each:
- AI Safety & Alignment - Alignment, interpretability, and model welfare research.
- Evals & Red Teaming - Capability evaluation, adversarial testing, structured red teams.
- AI Governance & Policy - Policy, standards work, and regulatory readiness.
- Research Science - Pre-training, post-training, and core research roles.
- ML Engineering - Training infrastructure, fine-tuning, model serving.
- AI Infrastructure - Accelerators, clusters, inference, and the systems layer.
- Data & MLOps - Data pipelines, labeling, evaluation harnesses, tooling.
- Applied AI - Shipping models into products and customer workloads.
- AI Product - Product management and design for model-backed products.
Safety, evaluation, and governance are first-class categories here rather than a footnote under "other". If you want to see only that work, start at AI safety jobs, model evaluation jobs, or AI governance jobs.
For candidates
Browse the latest roles, or narrow by remote, country, specialization, or seniority down to entry level. Salary is shown wherever the employer discloses it, normalized to a comparable annual figure. Free job alerts are available on any page, and the market dashboard tracks what is actually being hired for over time.
For employers
A listing here reaches people who came looking specifically for AI work, filtered to the exact track you are hiring into. It goes live immediately, is structured for Google Jobs, and is written to be readable by the answer engines candidates increasingly ask first. Pricing and details are on the employers page.
