Product Designer

Hey, I’m Teddy, CTO & co-founder at Magic Patterns! Our product team has grown a lot over the last few months here in San Francisco.

About Magic Patterns
Our mission is to let anyone build delightful software. We're a lean team where everyone contributes directly to the product.

We're building a tool for designers, so you'll be building for yourself and people like you. If you're excited to shape the future of design tools, this is the role for you. You'll have enormous ownership over not just how Magic Patterns looks and feels, but what it becomes.

About the Role

You'll drive the product design, UI/UX, and brand of Magic Patterns end-to-end. We also strongly believe that the designers of the future will be technical, so we expect you to be comfortable making codebase changes yourself + leveraging code as a design medium. You will have the full support and resources of the engineering team.

This role might be a fit if you...

• Are excited about AI and want to define what AI-first design tools should look and feel like

• Love hacking on fun, delightful, unique experiences

• Want ownership: own features end to end, drive decisions, ship to production

• Want to learn to code & ship your own work

Our Values

1. Obsessive — we love exploring every corner of the hardest problems.

2. Growth-minded — where you are today matters less than how fast you are growing

3. Ownership — insist on high standards and craftsmanship.

4. Spread the magic — for many people, Magic Patterns is “magic.” Be proud of your work and have fun!

Compensation and Benefits

• Rapid career growth at one of the fastest growing Series A companies

• Competitive salary and equity package

• 20 days off PTO

• Health, dental, and vision coverage

• Fun team offsites and events — we went to Mexico last year!
