About This Role
The Associate Director, AI Adoption & Change Management will lead the people, process, and workflow changes associated with ongoing and future AI, digital, and technology advances across Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) and the Development Asset Leads (DAL) organization. The portfolio includes AI initiatives, Planisware platform enhancements, workflow automation, and reporting modernization. The role will develop and execute change strategies that enable successful adoption, integration, and sustained use of new capabilities across portfolio and program management operations.

This is not an AI engineering or data science role. The successful candidate will be technically fluent enough to partner effectively with AI, Data, and IT teams, while remaining focused on business adoption and measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement integrated change management strategies for AI initiatives, Planisware enhancements, workflow automation, reporting modernization, and associated process, role, and resource changes.
- Partner with business leaders, AI Innovation, Data Stewardship, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Quality to assess how proposed changes affect roles, handoffs, decision points, controls, and data expectations.
- Lead change activities including stakeholder engagement, sponsor alignment, communications, role-based enablement, training, job aids, office hours, and communities of practice.
- Assess change impact, organizational readiness, capability gaps, and resistance; develop targeted interventions that improve confidence and sustained adoption.
- Build and manage change champion networks across Program Management, Program Planning, Development Asset Leads, and broader Development functions to accelerate adoption and reinforce desired behaviors.
- Help business teams identify practical AI opportunities and determine when the best response is AI enablement, workflow redesign, process simplification, behavior change, or a combination of these.
- Translate AI capabilities and limitations into clear workflow implications, role expectations, human-review requirements, and user guidance.
- Define, monitor, and report adoption metrics, user engagement indicators, value-realization measures, and solution performance KPIs to leadership.
- Promote responsible AI adoption by helping users understand appropriate use, limitations, human oversight, governance expectations, data considerations, and compliance obligations.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, release readiness, go-live support, and post-implementation adoption monitoring for technology and AI initiatives.
Required Skills
